Nitrogen fertilizer industry work conference conveys important information - this year's fertilizer preferential policies will not change

On May 29, 2007, the nitrogen fertilizer industry work conference was held in Beijing. Responsible comrades of the National Development and Reform Commission attended the meeting stated that in order to promote the healthy development of China's fertilizer industry, the country's preferential policies for the production of chemical fertilizers and export tariffs will not change this year and will remain stable. The maximum price for fertilizers is also Will not increase.

Fertilizer as an important agricultural means of production, do a good job of production and supply, maintain basic price stability, and it is of great significance to serving “agriculture, rural areas and farmers”. According to the person in charge, the Party Central Committee and the State Council attach great importance to fertilizer production and supply and price stability. In recent years, it has taken a series of positive measures to support the development of fertilizer production by reducing production and transportation costs and strengthening price monitoring. This year, the China Nitrogen Fertilizer Industry Association proposed the "National Nitrogen Fertilizer Enterprise's Suggestions on Continuing Preferential Policies for Nitrogen Fertilizer," and the country has made a decision to postpone the cancellation of the fertilizer preferential policies during the year. In mid-April, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Railways jointly issued the "Notice on Doing a Good Job of 2007 Fertilizer Production Supply and Price Stability," and actively deployed fertilizer production, supply, and price stability.

It is understood that under the favorable external development environment, China's chemical fertilizer production has continued to grow steadily this year, and supply and demand have been basically balanced. The prices in the domestic market are basically stable. Although prices of the fertilizer market rose slightly in the first quarter, they were still lower than the levels of the same period last year. The person in charge said that while clarifying that fertilizer companies continue to enjoy preferential policies this year, many factors will be taken into account. Despite the increase in the prices of raw materials, the maximum price of fertilizer will not be raised.

Regarding the issue of urea export tariffs, he made it clear that he will not change this year and will continue to maintain a stable policy of 30% from January to September and 15% from October to December. However, he also stressed that continuing to control fertilizer exports is a general trend. The state will continue to ban the export of fertilizers such as urea and diammonium phosphate, continue to suspend export rebates on urea, diammonium phosphate, and monoammonium phosphate, and continue to impose seasonal tentative tariffs on urea exports, starting from June 1. Diammonium phosphate imposes export duties.

The responsible person reminded enterprises that although the country does not adjust raw material prices for the fertilizer industry alone this year, in the long run, China’s resources and environmental protection policies will be increasingly strengthened. For high-energy-consuming, high-emission fertilizer producers, Take precautions and vigorously promote energy conservation and emission reduction. Only in this way can China's chemical fertilizer production get rid of the "extensive economy" status as soon as possible and achieve sustainable development.

It can be used for mineral oils, lubrication oils, non-flam fluids, synthetic and rapidly biodegradable fluids filtration.
