Malaysian natural rubber production fell by 3.8% in November from a year earlier
The Malaysian Bureau of Statistics said on Wednesday that imports of natural rubber in Malaysia in November 2007 decreased by 3.8% from the same period last year to 96,602 tons.
During the same period, natural rubber exports fell by 7.9% to 86,747 tons; imports increased by 44.4% to 59,395 tons.
The data also shows that domestic natural rubber consumption in Malaysia increased by 21% to 39,102 tons in November.
As of the end of November, natural rubber stocks totaled 156,441 tons, a decrease of 20.2% from the same period last year.
