On May 9th, the key project of the National “863†Plan—a key technology for the large-scale preparation of NaA zeolite membranes based on stainless steel supports was successfully examined and approved by experts. The project was led by Prof. Chen Xiangshu, a professor at the Jiangxi Normal University’s School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering and an expert in the Jiangxi Provincial Inorganic Membrane Materials Engineering Technology Research Center. It is reported that this is the first "863" key project subject in the province's new materials field. The acceptance panel believes that the research team has completed the research content of the project in high quality and has met the requirements of the project objectives and assessment indicators and agreed to pass the final evaluation. It is reported that the new generation of energy-saving and environmental-friendly separation technology developed by the project can replace the traditional separation process of fuel ethanol, and significantly save energy.
