This is the first set of oil fertilizer with the use of 2,000 tons of ultra-large-scale gasifier in Japan to achieve "drinking" oil to "eat" coal.
In May 2000, Anqing Petrochemical launched the "oil to coal" project. The project has been listed as a national "double high and excellent" project and the seventh batch of special projects for national debt. Anqing Petrochemical selected the powder coal gasification technology of the Dutch Shell Company. This technology has the advantages of wide range of coal selection, high coal conversion rate, and large single furnace production capacity. It has been widely used in power generation in power plants and has also been used in the United States for ammonia production. However, the application of large ammonia production in China has not yet begun. Anqing Petrochemical has introduced the patent of the powder coal gasification technology of the Dutch Shell Co., Ltd. The designed capacity is to handle 2,000 tons of coal daily, and it is determined that the province's self-produced coal is used as a coal source. Such a large-scale gasifier is used in the production of synthetic ammonia, and it is the first time that it has been successfully driven in China.
Anqing Petrochemical Fertilizer Plant is a large-scale chemical fertilizer plant with oil as raw material that was completed and put into production in the 1970s. At the time, the price of oil was low, and ammonia synthesis at the engine head was also one of the main directions for the development of the international synthetic ammonia industry. The oil and chemical fertilizers using petroleum as raw materials in the world once reached a share of 45%. Domestically, more than 20 sets of large and medium-sized oil-synthetic ammonia plants have been launched. The production capacity once accounted for 12% of the total domestic production capacity. In recent years, as oil prices have soared, the economic benefits of global fertilizer-based fertilizer installations have rapidly declined. In 2002, some domestic 300,000 tons of oil-head synthetic ammonia accounted for a loss of about 100 million yuan each year, and nearly all domestic enterprises of oil-head synthetic ammonia were caught in a production shutdown. In order to completely change this situation, Sinopec set up five large-scale oil-synthetic ammonia plants to reform “oil-to-coal” and reconstructed the original ammonia gas production unit with advanced large-scale entrained-bed coal gasifiers, of which three used Shell's powdered coal gas. Technology. Anqing Petrochemical is one of the first Shell furnaces to achieve successful ignition and feeding, which will play an exemplary role for other companies of the same type.
It is understood that there are domestic fertilizer companies such as Hubei Fertilizer Plant and Dongting Nitrogen Fertilizer Plant that are also undergoing “oil-to-coal” transformation.
