· Hyundai Motor's three-year profit reduction in sales fell 7% in China

According to "Nihon Keizai Shimbun" reported on January 27, Hyundai Motor's consolidated financial results for the fiscal year 2015 (as of December 2015) released on the 26th showed that the net profit was 6.509 trillion won, a decrease of 15% over the previous year. Sales in China fell by 7% to 1.04 million units. The sales of local automakers, which are dominated by low-cost weapons, and the sales of Hyundai Motor in the summer have fallen sharply. After that, the sales volume recovered, but the revenue was pulled down due to the substantial increase in sales expenses. In Russia and Brazil, sales were sluggish due to the chaotic effects of the local economy.

Sales in the United States, Europe and South Korea have increased. In India, sales increased by 13% to 460,000 units, and Hyundai has the second highest share in the Indian automotive market. Sales in Europe have grown slightly, making it the fourth largest market after China, the United States and South Korea.

The exchange rate of the Korean won against the US dollar fell, but the exchange rate of the Korean won against the Russian ruble and the Brazilian real increased. Therefore, the exchange gains from the Korean won against the US dollar were offset by the exchange losses of the Korean won against other currencies (Modern Motors).

Net profit for the October-December period decreased by 8% to 1.529 trillion won, and sales increased by 5% to 24.765 trillion won.
