Mineral type

The genetic type of the deposit is the type of deposit divided according to the genesis of the deposit. At present, the division of opinions on the genetic types of deposits is still inconsistent. For a long time, the most widely used mineral exploration in China is the classification of ore deposits based on mineralization, such as endogenous deposits, exogenous deposits and metamorphic deposits, and between them. Superimposed composite deposits, etc.

The classification of the genetic types of deposits helps deep understanding of the formation mechanism and spatial and temporal distribution of deposits, and helps to rationally deploy prospecting and exploration work. With three of geological and mineralization storeyed action, first the main metal deposits (as solid deposits, hereinafter the same) is divided into endogenous deposits, exogenous deposits, deposits and metamorphic deposits storeyed four categories, wherein SEDEX Type deposits, although formed by the combination of endogenous and exogenous interactions, are still placed in endogenetic deposits according to customary usage. On the basis of the above four categories, according to the ore-bearing rock (or rock construction), fluid action and related metallogenic characteristics, the deposit is divided into various genetic (sub) types; in these deposits (sub) types In addition, according to the mineral or ore combination, it is divided into the genetic types of the relevant mineral deposits of different minerals, and some representative mineral deposits or deposits of different minerals are listed, some of which are also briefly described for reference ( Table 1-2-1A, B, C).
