Each year, ExxonMobil's “Responsible Care†experts and regional management teams must conduct a rigorous review of candidate projects and award “Responsible Care Outstanding Contribution Award†to the winning team, individual, or factory. The results of the review will be published in the annual “Responsible Care Awards†brochure and will introduce the winning projects and personnel.
In 2004, Exxon Mobil had 314 projects participating in the “Responsible Care Awards†globally. Eventually 39 teams and 11 individuals won. The winners made outstanding contributions in community awareness, distribution systems, emergency handling, energy conservation, personal health and safety, pollution prevention, process safety, and product safety management.
