Scientists at Stanford University in the United States use minimal diamonds to make a very thin wire that is only three atoms wide in diameter and that they can be self-assembled.

According to Merash, micro-structures are very important because they exist in only one or two dimensions, as points, lines or faces of atomic size, which are different from the same materials made in batches.
