1 Overview In China Molybdenum reserves in the world, Jinxi, Liaoning, Shaanxi pile of gold, Jilin, Shanxi, Henan, Fujian, Guangdong, Hunan, Sichuan, Jiangxi and other provinces are molybdenum, and large reserves, good conditions for the development, production in the country It occupies an important position. Molybdenum minerals of commercial value are mainly molybdenite (MoS2), about 99% of molybdenum is molybdenite (MoS2) state mined. At present, China's molybdenum concentrate mainly exported to Russia, Japan and Western countries. MoS2 is lead gray, similar to graphite , has metallic luster, is hexagonal crystal, crystal is often hexagonal, the bottom is often patterned, soft and slippery, thin and flexible. The specific gravity is 4.7 to 4.8, the hardness is 1 to 1.5, and the melting point is 795 °C. The streaks of MoS2 on the ceramic plate are light green gray or light green black. When heated to 400-500 °C, MoS2 is easily oxidized to form MoS3, nitric acid. Both aqua regia and molybdenum (MoS2) can be decomposed. 3. Use MoS2 to produce ferromolybdenum alloy, molybdenum, calcium molybdate, ammonium molybdate, lubricants and the like. 4. Production system Molybdenum ore (MoS2) is a mineral that is easily flotation , and flotation is the primary method of selection for MoS2. The flotation method can be used to obtain 85 to 95% of molybdenum concentrate with a total recovery of 90%. 5. Packaging There are two kinds of packaging for exporting molybdenum concentrate: 1 inner fiberglass bag, outer sack, net weight 50kg per bag; 2 inner latex bag, outer bag, net weight 25~30kg or 50kg per bag. 6. quality specifications and chemical composition According to the technical conditions of GB3200-89 molybdenum concentrate, there are nine grades and nine varieties (see table).
