Four classifications of cylinders

The cylinder is a component for realizing linear motion and doing work. The structure and shape of the cylinder are various and there are many classification methods. The following are commonly used.

1 According to the direction of compressed air acting on the end face of the piston, it can be divided into single acting cylinder and double acting cylinder. The single-acting cylinder has only one direction of motion that is driven by the air pressure. The piston is reset by spring force or gravity; the double-acting cylinder piston is completely backed by compressed air.

2 According to the structural characteristics can be divided into piston-type cylinders, vane-type cylinders, film-type cylinders, gas-liquid damping cylinders.

3 According to the installation method, it can be divided into an ear seat cylinder, a flange type cylinder, a shaft pin type cylinder and a flange type cylinder.

4 according to the function of the cylinder can be divided into ordinary cylinders and special cylinders. Common cylinders mainly refer to piston type single-acting cylinders and double-acting cylinders; special cylinders include gas-liquid damping cylinders, diaphragm cylinders, impact cylinders, booster cylinders, stepper cylinders, and rotary cylinders.

DC Converter

DC Drive is basically a DC motor speed control system that supplies the voltage to the motor to operate at desired speed. Earlier, the variable DC voltage for the speed control of an industrial DC motor was generated by a DC generator.

DC drive technology is efficient, reliable, cost effective, operator friendly and relatively easy to implement. DC drive provides many advantages over AC drives, especially for regenerative and high power applications. DC drives have been widely used in industrial drive applications in order to offer very precise control.
